ACC: Asian Cricket Council
The continental regulatory organization for cricket in Asia is called the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Its main office is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where it was formed in 1983. All of the Asian countries that participate in Test matches are among the ACC’s 25-member associations. The main goals of the ACC are to grow cricket in Asia, host international cricket competitions there, and speak for the interests of its member associations before the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The Asia Cup, the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, the ACC Women’s Asia Cup, and the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup are just a few of the competitions and tournaments that the ACC puts on. Additionally, it coordinates the Asia Cup Qualifier, a competition used to qualify for the Asia Cup.
